How to keep a live crypto ticker on top of other windows on Windows

Updated

Keeping an exchange tab open means switching to it every time you want a price. A floating ticker keeps the coins you follow in view above every window.

Set up FloatCrypto+ for Windows

FloatCrypto+ for Windows (our app) keeps a slim ticker on top of every window, showing each coin's symbol and 24-hour change. It never takes focus, so your cursor stays where you were typing.

  1. Install FloatCrypto+ from the Microsoft Store; it lives in the system tray.
  2. Pick coins from the Binance pairs and drag them into your order.
  3. Place the ticker anywhere, and adjust its opacity and text size — or collapse it into a bubble at the screen edge.
  4. Set a target above or below the current price to get a desktop notification when the market crosses it. Double-click a coin for its chart.

Good to know

Hover the tray icon for a full price table, and hide the ticker with Ctrl+Alt+T. Prices come from Binance's public market data with automatic fallback and may be delayed by up to 30 seconds; the app doesn't trade or connect to an exchange account, and nothing in it is investment advice.

Free follows 2 coins with 1 alert; Pro is a one-time purchase for 10 coins, unlimited alerts, a 10-second refresh and longer charts. There are no ads.
