Clipboard+ for Windows

A Windows tray clipboard manager that syncs with your Android phone through your own Google Drive.

Overview

Clipboard+ for Windows is a tray-resident clipboard manager that automatically saves the text and images you copy. Everything is recorded the moment you copy it, so even if you overwrite something by accident you can pull the earlier item back and paste it. Pair it with the Android Clipboard+ app and what you copy on your phone pastes on your PC, and what you copy on your PC pastes on your phone. Your clips never pass through a CodeDAC server — they are stored only in your own Google Drive. Saved items can be organized into groups and snippets and searched.

FAQ

Does it sync with the Android Clipboard+ app?

Yes. Turn on sync with the same Google account on both devices, and what you copy on your phone pastes on your PC, and what you copy on your PC pastes on your phone. Your clips never pass through a CodeDAC server — they travel only through your own Google Drive.

Where is my clipboard data stored, and is it safe?

Your clip history is kept on your PC by default (in the %APPDATA%\ClipboardPlus folder). If you turn on sync, it is also stored in a private app area of your own Google Drive — an area that stays hidden from your Drive view and cannot be opened by anything other than Clipboard+. The app uses only that private area, so it cannot reach any of your other photos or documents on Drive.

What do I need to enable sync?

In the settings of both the Android app and the Windows app, sign in to Google Drive with the same account, then turn on automatic sync. From then on, the clipboards on both devices stay in sync on their own.
