PhotoCleaner+ hides personal information in photos and PDFs entirely on your device. It covers sensitive areas with a solid, opaque mask (not a blur or mosaic, so covered areas can't be recovered) and exports a clean copy.
A built-in detector suggests likely sensitive text such as ID numbers, cards, phone numbers and emails — free and unlimited — but you draw and adjust the masks by hand and decide exactly what gets hidden. Photos, ID cards and multi-page PDFs are all handled, every saved or shared copy is re-encoded with no EXIF, and no gallery or storage permission is ever requested.
Detection, editing and masking stay unlimited on the free version and no export ever carries a watermark; free exports 3 times a day, while Pro lifts that limit and adds PDF export, printing and any mask color. Turn on “Choose where to save” and you pick the folder and file name yourself.
Is the masking a blur or mosaic?
No. Masking uses one style only, a solid opaque fill, and covered areas can't be recovered. With Pro you can pick any mask color.
Are my photos uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything runs offline on your device and no photo is ever uploaded. The app also never requests gallery or storage permission.
Can I rely on auto-detection alone before exporting?
Detection is only a starting point that suggests likely sensitive text. Always review the suggestions and add or remove masks yourself before exporting.
How many times can I export for free?
Three times a day. What counts is the Export button, whatever you do with the result: save, share, PDF or print. Detection, editing and masking are never capped. Pro removes the daily limit, and if you'd rather not subscribe, a short ad lifts it for 24 hours.
