Overview

PhotoCleaner+ hides personal information in photos and PDFs entirely on your device. It covers sensitive areas with a solid, opaque mask (not a blur or mosaic, so covered areas can't be recovered) and exports a clean copy. A built-in detector suggests likely sensitive text such as ID numbers, cards, phone numbers, and emails as a starting point, but you draw and adjust masks by hand to decide exactly what gets hidden. No photo is ever uploaded, everything runs offline, and no gallery or storage permission is ever requested.

No. Masking uses one style only, a solid opaque fill, and covered areas can't be recovered. With Pro you can pick any mask color.

Are my photos uploaded anywhere?

No. Everything runs offline on your device and no photo is ever uploaded. The app also never requests gallery or storage permission.

Can I rely on auto-detection alone before exporting?

Detection is only a starting point that suggests likely sensitive text. Always review the suggestions and add or remove masks yourself before exporting.
