Does it really make my phone louder?
Yes. The Loudness Maximizer uses multiband compression and makeup gain to genuinely increase perceived loudness, and it raises the whole system output from 0 up to +15 dB — not just one app. It applies to music, videos, YouTube, games, calls and everything else.
How is this different from '200%' boosters?
Numbers like "200%" or "500%" that other boosters shout are meaningless. VolumeBooster+ shows the real gain in decibels and marks WHO-based Safe, Caution and Danger zones, so you always know exactly how loud you really are.
Is the displayed dB an exact measurement?
The decibel value is an estimate based on your system volume and the applied gain, and real loudness varies by device, headphones and content. The app is not a medical device, so if you notice ear pain or ringing, lower the volume and consult a professional.

WOW! what a difference! I am trying free version & 3 decibel boost helps immensely already! It even has different settings for various types of sound like music, podcast, etc like an equalizer. Already using Clipboard+ from the same developer & it is an awesome app! Highly recommend it!
